Mike is a Principal of The Collaborative and Co-Founder of Advisors Trusted Advisor, a resource launched to meet the business growth needs of RIA’s and Financial Planners. 
Mike develops and delivers Collaborative training and coaching programs, with a special focus on the needs of software and technology firms. Prior to joining The Collaborative in 2002, Mike held positions as General Manager North America, General Manager, PERAscope; Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Management, and Director of Sales – Americas at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters). At Thomson, Mike had a key role in driving this explosively growing business, starting with 16 people in 1987, from $2.5m to 120 people and $50m in 2001. In his PERAscope GM role he had responsibility for the development and rollout of leading-edge performance measurement and risk-analysis software.
He has successfully led two major organizational change efforts and the turnaround of a failing business, and has twice been “salesman of the year”.
Mike earned his BA at the University of Delaware, an MBA in finance from the University of Houston, and an executive degree from the Columbia University Graduate Business School. He is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society, where he is a past member of the Quantitative Analysis Subcommittee. He is a past contributing editor and advisory board member of the Journal of Performance Measurement.
Mike speaks frequently at investment industry forums and has contributed articles to various industry publications.
